Have you ever travelled somewhere and it made such an impression on you that glimmers of moments from that place spontaneously slip into your mind and intertwine with reality?

That place for me is Thailand.

It's been five months since our trip but if I close my eyes, I can still feel the warm sun on my face as we're coasting through the forest from one beach to another by scooter.
I never want to forget these little moments that made Thailand so special.

In an attempt to never forget, I created a video journal of our trip.

& here are some photos from the 5 disposable cameras I took to Thailand

Our first meal in Thailand was Michelin star Thai street food at Jay Fai in Bangkok.
It definitely set the tone for the rest of the trip.

Delicious boat noodles at Boat Noodle Alley at Victory Monument.

A few days later, we flew 2 hours up north to Chiang Mai,
rode a van for 3 hours from Chiang Mai to Pai,
rented a motorbike (scooter) in Pai and rode for 2 hours to Mae Hong Son.

We went caving the first day and spent 8 hours in a pitch black cave. It was incredible.
Then we went on a kayaking day trip through the Khong River and the Pai River
the following day for 8 hours as well.

The following morning we woke up at 4:30am, left our accommodations by 5:00am, rode the motorbike in the dark, up and down mountainsides through the freezing cold for 2 hours to get back to Pai to drop off the motorbike, catch our van, ride the van for 3 hours to Chiang Mai, to catch a flight down south to Phuket.

lol, what a sight ... this was the ferry we took to Koh Phi Phi

This day, we spent 8+ hours on this boat riding from one snorkeling spot to another.
We even got to swim with Black Tip Reef Sharks!

After a week of living in a bikini, we flew back to Bangkok

Our last full day in Thailand was spent eating everything at
Khlong Lat Mayom floating market.
